persitant headaches, nausea

hi there. I have been a migraine sufferer since I was young, but in the last 3 weeks or so I've had a constant headache in my eyes, which randomly gets worse on the right side of my head, which is the opposite side from my usual migraines. This has been a constant, but I've also been experiencing random nausea, diarrhea, feeling rather confused and mentally foggy, very strange emotionally, and breaking out in a rash. This comes after being treated for pneumonia last month. I went to the doctor yesterday where they ran some blood tests, which mostly came back normal. I was just wondering if anyone knows if blood tests can come back normal even if someone is sick. I've been so miserable and desperately want to get this cleared up, but feel slightly crazy because of the lack of substantial lab work. Has anyone experienced this. I noticed as well that my labs were normal when I was sick with both pneumonia and mono. Is this normal?

Hi,

How are you?
Another possibility is allergy headache. Since you have rashes also allergies cannot be ruled out. Allergies are especially common in the fall season.
Please discuss this possibility with your doctor. Keep us posted!

Thanks for the response! I am not currently on any medication except for a thyroid pill that I have been on for 2 yrs or so. My thyroid levels have been restested several times and fall within normal levels.
