pressure at the top of my head

hi all,
i get really sore heads at the top but when i press down on it with my hand it like takes a bit of the pressure away as soon as i take my hand away the pain still there i have taken boots tension headache tablets but there are not working now. i do get all tension up but i cant help that??? i feel really silly at times my memory not to good, poor concentration,tired all the time, now i do work and do start at 6am - 10am but go back to bed for a hour and i go to bed at 9pm no later then 10pm. i on high bp tablets and have been in the last 10years are more and do get it check its 134/90 i,m 39years old.
is there anyone can help ....

Hi,
Thanks for the updates. It is good to hear that the blood test results were fine. Stress management may be tricky at first but you need to control and reduce the tension that is present  by making emotional and physical changes. Thanks rowena,  no other symptoms, and head trauma  none . I do go every two weeks at the min to checked bp . And did get my blood test,s all back clear . don't know how to removal of the stress just all tension up. Thanks for leaving me a post .

Hi,
How are you? Are there other symptoms present? Was there a previous head trauma? Tension headaches usually resolves with pain medications, rest and removal of the stress/ triggers. If it persists, and you have high blood pressure, regular evaluation by your doctor is important to help rule out presence of other conditions such as diabetes or dyslipidemia. Additional diagnostic tests such as blood chemistry and imaging studies may also help. Take care and do keep us posted.
