I too have the burning ears with migraines.  I just found out I have food allergies and I am 57 yrs old.  They also think I may have celiac even though I was tested once and it was negative.  My ears used to itch and now they burn.  Itching ears are a sign of allergy but burning ears is not very common it seems.

If you look at the list -- many people have similar symptoms -- I can only tell you what worked for me I found out about being electromagneticaly sensitive (radiation poisoning, microwave illness).  I know becuase I can't talk on a cell phone without immediate pain and even siting in front of a computer screen for too long without getting headaches.

I had evey test my doctor could think to recommend and I was in perfect health -- just like so many on the list.   I found that I had to turn off my cell phone, wifi and gaming systems and cordless phones in order to feel better -- try it as an experiment to see if you feel better.  Fluorescent light give off a much stronger electro magnetic fields than regular bulbs - so I switched everthing back to the old kind (not great for the environment but much better for me).  since then, i don't get blurred vision, headaches, ear ringing, nausea, night sweats, anxiety -- all of them stopped within a day or two -- except in situations where I am exposed -- like at a friend's house.

feel better.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

I know you are highly anxious about this. I suggest that a complete blood count with platelet  count be done. Evaluation of blood clotting factor levels ( aPTT, PT and fibrinogen levels ) may also help since problems with blood clotting may cause bleeding or blocks in blood vessels which may present as visual symptoms and other neurologic presentations. Assessment of thyroid function tests may also help. Was your cardiac function evaluated? Was an EKG done? An evaluation of your neck vessels to assess its patency may be necessary. Decrease blood flow to the brain may cause dizziness and visual problems.

At this point we are trying to rule out any underlying condition which may also contribute to your symptoms . Hormone imbalance, infections and anemic states may present with dizziness and blurred vision.

Let us wait for the results of your scans. Management of your condition shall start from there. At this point, I know this is difficult for you. Let us just take this one step at a time. Discuss your fears and concerns with your physician and do keep us posted with your results.
