Weekends........

An advertising jingle from a beer company that played the airs decades ago keeps running through my head this morning ........... Weekends are made for  Michelob.  Maybe it is stuck in my head because I am working a charity beer tasting on Saturday.  LOL

It has me wondering, though, what is your weekend made for?

I rode for over an hour. I did all kinds of Dressage moves it was glorious. I only had trouble getting on and off. Later I had a diaphragm spasm but I took medicine and slept it off but it was worth it. Life is good.

I wish I knew ahead of time about that charity beer tasting Lu. I would have flown over to your neck of the woods to attend.  You guys have all the f un there in Ohio.  

This weekend I had fun shopping.  I am feeling so much stronger and am enjoying my old past time of walking.  Walking through the stores, walking around the park, to the river...I am just loving walking again.  I was so proud that today I did not have to use my cane nor the electric scooter in the store.  

So, my weekend is going great just doing everyday things that I used to take for granted.  Guess that includes housecleaning too.  :)

Hope your beer tasting went perfectly and lots of money was donated.

I am graduating today from college.  I am very excited, but the weather is NOT cooperating!  The ceremony is supposed to be outside, but there is no chance of that.  Oh well, nothing is going to rain on my parade ;o)

I am going horse back riding. May be it will help move thing along so to speak. Otherwise it will distract me.

Our monthly MS Support meeting. We have someone from the chapter as a guest speaker. I missed last month.

Hopefully walk the puppy beast. I have been too sick all week.

These plans may be too ambitious but I am tired of sitting around hoping things get better.

How funny!  You're going to a beer tasting and I'm going to a cake tasting tomorrow morning.  My daughter who's getting married in July.  I cannot believe it's so close and we have so much to do!  I could probably use a Michelob.

This weekend will be spent cleaning the house and putting the final details for my last child to graduate. A happy but sad all rolled into one!

We thought he wouldn't live to 18 and here he is happy and for the most part healthy due  to a pain in @ss mother who was a nurse and a fantastic pediatrician who was always on top of things.

Bittersweet day come May 27,2011 when he graduates!

This weekend is a rare weekend "off" meaning that I do not have to drive children to activities or attend any events or have any other obligations. So this weekend will be made for cleaning. Oh joy. :(

My mom and step-dad are coming from out of town for the weekend for a late Mother's Day celebration. I will be busy working, cleaning and shopping today to get ready, i was thinking about taking them to a movie since we haven't done that in years (with them). It has been awhile since they came here so i am looking forward to it :D

My mother in law is coming home from the hospital today after having back surgery. My husband , kids, and I  will be bringing her a fish fry and we will be watching home videos with her
The kids miss her so much and can't wait to see her.
Saturday, some much needed rest and relaxation and then Sunday get dropped off at mother in laws house to "try" to help her ( I do what I can) she knows that I can't do much, but being there with her keeping her company is what she wants more than anything.

I am going to attempt with my hubby's assistance to make my Italian Wedding soup! My family loves it and I figured it would be a nice treat to all. He has to help me lift the pot because it is too heavy. My kids roll the meatballs and help shred up the chicken.. TEAMWORK!!
