We've seen him at least twice before..but it's been several years! I think the last time we saw him was post 9/11 for the Rising tour. I cannot wait!!! Took Tuesday off work so I can chillax :)
Wow -- I am just catching up on all of your busy weeks here. I hope all of your plans went well (JJ...tell us you managed that ladder OK?!?!), and everyone has baked in some R&R for the weekend.
It was an incredibly busy week for me, which generally means I get overwhelmed. My small team was mostly all in town from around the US for two days, so it was long and interactive days at work plus one dinner. I was absolutely shattered! I felt like the entire right side of my body was in a contraction...but you know what? I survived, I was OK the next day, I pushed on. So, it was a good test for me.
This weekend is busy with family in town (staying with us). I scheduled some mani/pedi time for the girls...mostly because I wanted to have nice toes for our vacation coming up! We will host a large family dinner one night. Nothing officially planned just yet.
Monday night we are going to see Bruce Springsteen!! We had two, main floor, standing-only tickets, and now have 2 more seated tickets, which is great. I wasn't sure I could manage on my feet for the entire concert...and now I don't have to!
Wishing you all wonderful weekends. Spring is in the air in the upper midwest of the US. It won't stay, but I am enjoying every bit of sunshine and dry roads I can get! :)

Busy bee this week, been in Edinburgh with my team there, with two newbies on board. Cracking team meal Wed night with cocktails beforehand. I'm not sure who blushed more the young bar guy or me/teamie when we ordered a Coke, two non-alc beers, a Pornstar Martini (mine) and two Screaming Orgasms! I'm lying we didn't blush, just hooted!!
Tiring due to early start Tue (4.30am start) back in time for dinner tonight but relatively early nights even with meal out still in bed by 9pm - I know how to live! Just pack a lot into a short timeframe.
Pilates Fri morning but still not gd enough weather to venture out on the bike after last fiasco!
Off to Twickenham on Sat to watch England v Ireland in the 6 Nations rugby tournament with hubby and daughter. She'll be screaming for the men in white (Oz my first team, Scotland for hubby, but both England on Sat).
JJ - step away from the DIY tools and ladder! Feet up, cuppa in hand and chill (tricky in Oz Summer of course!).
Alex - set a new trend my friend xx
Memory shocking so sorry I know there were other comments from SC, Asp, Immi, Corri, Karen etc brain letting me down xxxxx
Oh JJ, that does not sound fun at all. I am so sorry that your original idea with the unit fell through.
I hope it gets ready and sells soon so you can have a bit less stress and a lot more sleep.

Good luck with the neuro ophthalmologist, hopefully that will provide something concrete.
Nutella eh? I haven't been able to make myself try it. :)
Don't be too impressed yet, I have been at this MS thing for 3 years and literally have no life to speak of because of the horrendous fatigue. Now I have gotten to the point that I don't care. I want to actually live life so I am pushing myself to do things I would normally avoid.
You've got a lot on your plate already and being in limbo is exhausting by all accounts.

Wow, one more thing ruled out!! ***** that you don't have an answer yet though.
I have started off slowly at the gym, 10 minute cardio warm-up (usually on an elliptical machine) 10 minutes of strength training (legs and arms on alternating days) and then 10 minutes of cool down usually on a fabulous recumbent cycle that has a fan of all things built into the top of the monitor! :)
I have to start switching it up a bit though and push myself a bit more now that I seem to be doing OK other than really warm while working out. I may try wearing my cooling vest too to see if that helps.

Tomorrow I have my week 108 site visit for the drug study I'm on. Difficult to believe I've been on the extension for that long, plus the 144 weeks on Phase III. Time moves very quickly when measured in 4 week increments!
Oh, JJ. Take care of yourself. Sounds like you have so many overwhelming things on your plate. I got nervous just reading about you going up and down ladders. Fingers crossed at least the weather plays nice soon! Thinking of you.
Hi,
Good on you Corrie! Hope it goes your way.
couple of days in, been ok. Had my first gym appointment after being referred from my physio. can't wait to get in to it properly! Hopefully the week will carry on ok.
Take care all,
T
hmmmm i'm here, sort of.......i'm 100% physically, mentally and financial depleted with no end in sight. We are frantically trying to hurry the fixing of our little unit so we can sell it and plug up the financial black hole we're in. We bought it for my mother to live in, agh long story i won't bore you with but new rule of thumb, don't put your self in financial flux for family.....ever!
I have blisters on my blisters, bruises on my bruises, numb fingers from hammers strikes, yeah who knew double vision and hammers wasn't a good idea, well me actually but still got to do what a girls got to do, right?
I have dropped more things than i can count, put more dints and holes in things i care to think about, but at least i've gotten pretty good with plaster filler lol and i wont tell you about how great (not) i am on a ladder....
Counting down the days until the heat over my side of the world gives me a bloody brake!
Back to the hammering for the next um week or so......JJ
Alex, you look very awesome with a little less hair. We can see you now, no but seriously, we see your heart, and it is beautiful as always.
The last of three months of medical appointments is done ... hallelujah! Today got fitted for a knee brace, ordered a dorsiflexion assist device and participated in an ms research project (NMSS funded) at a nearby university -- a LOT of fun! 2.5 hours of walking tests, cognitive testing, questionnaires, vision/balance screening -- but it was really interesting :).
Also found out I'm looking at a knee surgery in the next 4-6 months :P. Stupid foot drop.
Good for you for throwing your name in for Chair!!!
Oooooh wine and cake. I am SO there. Currently eating Nutella and crackers coz there was nothing closer to real chocolate. You impress me all with your socialness, going to gyms and meetings. I come back from work and mostly crash or am at least unfunctional - not dysfunctional - not yet anyways! Nothing new for me, still on the probably not side of MS to all accounts and purposes so maybe I am an impostor here, but primary sending me to neuro-opthamologist so maybe that will at least get me some answers to eye stuff.
That would be great Corrie.
I have my MS Support Meeting tonight. A MS Speaker lunch on Thursday and chemo on Friday. I am losing my hair again so I am a little bummed. I did get out to the barn last Saturday and brushed Clara. I was not up for riding. I have not even been walking the dogs.
That's great Corrie, I hope you are voted in! And way to go on the excercise, what do you do at the gym?
I'm in dire need of a hair cut mikeysmom, my split ends are getting split ends! Enjoy your new "do"!
I got the final results on the more extensive Lyme test...negative. So, sigh...ugh! We are celebrating my oldest turning 13 today, so very crazy! But I love having a reason to eat cake! ;-)
Karen
Corriel..... A switch many here, you are truly an inspiration. I may be partaking in a little vino Rosso this week also as a celebratory measure regarding the conclusion of a daunting project.
Good for you regarding a message....Well Deserved!!
Hugs
This week is a quiet one for me. Going to get my hair done today.
We are suppose to get a snowstorm tomorrow so going to the grocery too.
I think it great you are able to workout for 30 minutes.
Good luck on your run for the chapter chair. I'm sure you will be great at it.
Best regards barb
