Atypical neuropathy

I have an atypical peripheral neurology that manifests itself in the form of pain like bee stings.  The can occur several times a day for one or two days, and then quiet for a few.

At times they become multipartite and last for several days.  During this period my temperature reflects the intensity of the pain up to 103.7 degrees.  Has this syndrome been seen by others?

I have been prescribed the 3 prescription meds but side effects dictated discontinuance before I reach a theaputic dose.

Any help appreciated-
