Is this a brain tumor or sinus problems.

Ok. So I am 15 years old and I have been experincing some peculiar sypmtoms.
It started about 3-4 weeks ago.
I get really dizzy, but not to the point where I could fall. It'd like diorientantion or something.
And the left side of my head has been hurting really bad, around the top and it's not really constant but on and off.
Also my ears feel stuffy and everything sounds muffled.
I can't breathe that well because my nose is stopped up.
And sometimes but not often there is a slight pressure behind my left eye.
I get hot a lot when I'm just sitting down.
[maybe because i can't breathe that well, and sometimes I forget to breathe]
My fase has recently started to get flushed but I was thinking that maybe it was because I couldn't breathe well or my period.
I've had sinus problems all my life and the doctors always say that it is just sinuses.
They give me medicine and it never helps.!
I got to thinking about it and I was afraid that maybe it was one of those scary misdignoise things like on tv.
Please help.

Hi. I've been experiencing constant headaches. Mostly from my left eye area to the back of my head. This has been happening for about a month or 2. I usually wake up with the headache or it starts during the day. It doesn't last the entire day but sometimes they do get pretty intense. I cough a little and I experience nausea but I don't vomit. Is this sinus or can it be a brain tumor? I am really scared..

Buy a Neti Pot sometimes called SinuCleanse.  You can get them at
Walgreens or CVS.  If you ask the pharmacy they'll know what your talking about.  If you go on Oprah.com and search Neti Pot they will explain more about it.  I bought one and started using it and stuff comes out of my nose that would have never come out.  It takes alittle getting used to but it works.  You'll start to feel a difference after 3 cleansings.  Try it!

I talked to my friend who is prone to ear infections, she said that they make your hea hurt behind your ear and cause it to get bigger..

Will it go away on it's own ?

Hello.

You most probably have mastoiditis. The mastoid bone (prominence behind the ears) has a spongy character. It can't be pressed, but it has air cells. When there is an inflammation of the air cells, the bone enlarges. There is even a possibility of mastoid abscess.

They have me on a steriod pack thing.
I'm not sure about the fluid, I'm suppost to have a CT scan of my sinuses next monday.
Also the place RIGHT behind my left ear, like that bone thing behind your ear is bigger than it is on my right side, the same place it hurts. Is that because of the fluid in my ear or because my neck is strained or could it be a tumor which causes the ear pressure or something... Because it's like a little puffy and swollen.
And it isn't possible to mistake eardrops for fluid in the ears is it...

Hello.

The neck muscle has occipital nerve branches running "through" them. Any stretch or pull of the muscles is going to stretch the nerve, too. The consequence is the back of the head pain. It starts at the lower back of the head, ascends up on top and may ever reach the eyes.

You will have to take the help of some physical therapy for this. What is the plan for the fluid? What do the doctors say?

Do you take any pain relief medication?

So I went to the doctor yesterday.
They found fluid behind my ears which she said causes the dizzyness and headache.
Also, my left neck muscle thing is pulled or something because it hurts A LOT and has been for the past few days. Do you think that is why the back of my head hurts [it started about the same time]

Hello.

Your symptoms do not suggest a tumor, unless the twitching that you had was a seizure!

I would still think of an MRI of the brain and rule the tumor out for the sake of confirmation. It will not be appropriate to say there is no tumor and not get an MRI.

Hi.

Brain tumor produces symptoms depending upon its location in the brain. Common tumors are meningiomas. They lie in the frontal - parietal region.

A brain tumor typically leads to episodes of fainting / unconsciousness. The person sees dark in front of the eyes, there is loss of balance and consciousness for some time and the person may fall and injure himself.

Other symptoms are intense headache, nausea, vomiting and focal symptoms. If the tumor is in the temporal lobe, you may get hallucinations. If the tumor is in the central portions, it may obstruct the Cerebrospinal fluid flow.

As I said earlier, the symptoms of brain tumor depend upon its location.

Hello.

First things first. This is not a brain tumor and you are not going to die.

Now, consider migraine headaches / cluster headaches. Ask your physician to assess you for migraine headaches. Also, observe if the headaches and the face flushing increase more during your menses. Let me know.

Hello.

The current symptoms do hint towards sinusitis. But your earlier experience of twitching has to be explained. Did you have any investigation done ?

Are you on any medication currently ?
