Leftsided numbness and face

Just wondering about a condition ive had for a while,... My left sideof my body gets numb, like the outer skin layer, even on my face. I just got my MRI results that say the following, there are several focal hyperintense white matter abnormalities, they are non specific in nature, but at my age of 39 they are abnormal. whats going on with me? M.S. does not run in my family, friedrich ataxia does but i am only a carrier of that gene. it comes in waves like, i could be standing and my face and scalp go numb/tingly more than numb.then my arm, then my left leg. skin touch is the main thing just feels wierd, minor joint pain aches, but just thought it was cause im entering my 40's
