20 months of headache because of depression. Please answer the queries.

Hi, I am 20 yrs old man. I had been under great stress before I eventually went into depression about 20 months ago which was caused by a greater stress. Since then I feel a sharp pain in the left temple of my head. I was so isolated for a long time that no one knew about my problems (and no one still does now). People would only mock or stare, none would care to love and help. I cannot discuss it with my parents either, and I have no friends. However, I am thinking of going to a good neurologist as I can now afford do so by the grace of God. But before visiting there I need you help to answer the following questions which also gives details about my chronic headache:

a). What could I be suffering from exactly? I feel that kind headache (which has caused the scalp behind my left ears to hardened and numbed) all the time and if I meditate it vanishes a little and then again gets triggered as if I have an OCD to get that headache.
b). Can good social relations and healthy family life and acceptance cure this disease of mine?
c). It feels nice for a while when that part of my head feels a gush of "blood/fluid" through it, as if I am partially relieved and I start to think that a few more of such would make me feel heaven. So what could this be because of? Could I be in serious trouble? I almost failed in college last year and studying cost me a lot pain, energy and time. I look disturb and inattentive and I believe I really am . Analgesics have proven useless. So please advice.

Regards.

2. Hi there. These headaches could be due to stress, anxiety, migraines or tension headaches, sinus headaches radiating to the ear, headache usually front of head, on one or both  the sides of temples along with nausea, vomiting, irritability, low blood pressure, sensitivity to lights, sound, etc. aura associated with migraines could include blind spots, blindness in half of your visual field, paresthesia, weakness or visual hallucinations. Your vision needs detailed testing by an ophthalmologist. Hypertension and hypotension need to be checked. An MRI brain is warranted to rule out any intracranial lesion particularly aneurysm and MRI spine for ruling out cervical spondylosis and degenerative disc disease.  Temporal tendinitis mimics migraines including TMJ pain temporal headaches, tooth sensitivity, neck and shoulder pain. Treatment includes injecting local anesthetics and other medicines, moist heat muscle relaxants and NSAIDs along with physiotherapy. Multiple sclerosis would also need to be excluded. Treatment for migraines include drugs that prevent the attack like anti convulsants and drugs which treat an attack like triptans, ergots etc your queries should pertain to all these possible differential diagnoses. Trigeminal neuralgia needs to be considered. If the neurologist and radiologist are suspecting a cerebral aneurysm, they can confirm with cerebral angiography and clipping of the aneurysm could be done. Hope this helps. Take care.
