numbness on right side, from head to feet

Long time Fibromyalia patient, female, 51, has recently developled over the past six months steady, continous numbness and tingeling on the entire right side of body and face, from head to toes. The last six months, there has been a few episodes with the numbness and tingling being accompanied by dizziness, feeling of disorentation, weakness on right side of body, quiverying of shoulder muscle, arm and hand.  Could not stand any longer and had to lay down, felt she would pass out.  Very weird feeling in head and nausuas.

Is this related to Fibromyaliga or could this be a Thalams problem in the brain, such as stroke or hemmorage?

This discussion is related to fibromyalgia numbness and tingling.

Hello DandySandy,
Fatigue, loss of sleep, disorintation may occur in fibromyalgia..Neurological symptoms occur in about one-fourth of persons with fibromyalgia. Numbness and tingling in the arms and legs are common. The cause is unknown and no specific treatment exists. You need to see your doctor and discuss regarding the traetment options.
