severe eye pains and headache

My son is 21 years old and suffers from severe eye pain coming any time of the day and night in the right eye deep inside very chronic and painful. The right nose is also congested when these symptoms develop and last for 30 to 40 minutes.
The pain than travels from the eye to right temple and right eye lid and also same time he gets stomach upset and needs to empty himself.
How the eye pain and stomach are related not known. His MRI brain is ok and also endoscopy of the stomach is fine.
It could be cluster headache or a very weak digestion as what ever he eats in soon converted into bowel movement.
There are toxins which come out as gases in his mouth several times during when these symptoms occur.
The pain is so severe that he looses himself and starts crying.
Can some one suggest a wonderful remedy.

Hi, it sounds like a cluster headache to me. My husband suffers from cluster headaches and he becomes nauseous, has pain behind and inside of his right eye, begins moaning loudly and sometimes has kind of like a seizure. To date, I have no remedy for this. Everything my hisband has ever tried that has been prescribed by his doctor has never touched the pain and he has tried almost everything as he has suffered from the condition since he was 14 and he is now 26. Good luck to you and your son.

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there. These headaches could be due to stress, anxiety, migraines or tension headaches, sinus headaches radiating to the ear, headache usually front of head, on one or both  the sides of temples along with nausea, vomiting, irritability, low blood pressure, sensitivity to lights, sound, etc. aura associated with migraines could include blind spots, blindness in half of your visual field, paresthesia, weakness or visual hallucinations. Your vision needs detailed testing by an ophthalmologist. Hypertension and hypotension need to be checked. An MRI brain is warranted to rule out any intracranial lesion particularly aneurysm and MRI spine for ruling out cervical spondylosis and degenerative disc disease.  Temporal tendinitis mimics migraines including TMJ pain temporal headaches, tooth sensitivity, neck and shoulder pain. Treatment includes injecting local anesthetics and other medicines, moist heat muscle relaxants and NSAIDs along with physiotherapy. Multiple sclerosis would also need to be excluded. Treatment for migraines include drugs that prevent the attack like anti convulsants and drugs which treat an attack like triptans, ergots etc your queries should pertain to all these possible differential diagnoses. Trigeminal neuralgia needs to be considered. If the neurologist and radiologist are suspecting a cerebral aneurysm, they can confirm with cerebral angiography and clipping of the aneurysm could be done. Your son needs to be seen by a gastroenterologist for his Hope this helps. Take care.
