Gluten free diet

Is it possible/ recommended to do a gluten free diet crossed with a calorie controlled diet? I was thinking of cutting carbs also but if I have to have them they have to be gluten free? Is that recommended ? Or is there any other way to do it?

Of course it's possible.  You can eat all starches but those that have gluten.  For instance, potatoes are fine.

Why do you want to go gluten free?  Do you have Celiac disease?
