Help: Hypoglycemia, Dehydration, Arrhythmia?

Female, 22, I'll be the first to admit I probably don't eat the healthiest diet. Being a grad student, it's hard to stay on schedule and eat regular meals, but I'm definitely eating. Anyway, this morning, I woke up at the normal 5:45 seemingly okay. I immediately got in the shower, and still seemed okay. All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I got the worst hunger pains I've ever felt in my life. Within about 30 seconds, the hunger was accompanied by nausea and dry heaves. At this point, my eyes got really fuzzy, and kept going black, and then coming back in focus. I was extremely lightheaded and the entire room was spinning. I had to hold on to something just to stand up. I kept thinking I was definitely going to pass out or die- but I wasn’t with it enough to be scared. I couldn't even wash the conditioner out of my hair. Even though I could barely walk or think straight, something told me to get a yogurt. My mind went fuzzy again, and I came to, sitting on the toilet (I know, I know) eating my yogurt. By the 4th bite, everything disappeared - it was like a light switch. However, even after, I have no recollection of finishing the yogurt, or how I got into my bedroom. Anyway, i finally completely "came to" and was fine, but tired for the rest of the day.  My issue is this: It seems like hypoglycemia, but I'm not diabetic, and I ate the day before, even having had cheese and crackers right before I went to bed. I wasn't actually starving. I could have been a little dehydrated, but the yogurt wouldn't have instantly fixed that - nor would I have felt intensely hungry. I've never had this happen, even after fasting for 24 hours or more for surgeries, blood tests, or community service.  In the days leading up to this morning, I noticed I was having severe tremors in my right hand, to the point where it wasn't even functional at times. Was this a warning sign to something? I'm not taking any medications that would cause this and I started no new exercise routine or diet.

People who are hypoglycemic should eat several small meals a day. So keep snacks with you (not junk food, I hope).

You need to see a doctor, for sure.  Could be a whole lot of things, including nutritional deficiency, blood sugar surge, hormonal surge, stress, just a weird day, internal bleeding as with an ulcer (unlikely, since you wouldn't have gotten better so quickly) -- so many things or nothing at all.  Get yourself checked out for peace of mind.
