Shoulder, neck and arm pain

Hi all, About 2 months ago I started having shoulder and arm pain. Hurt from shoulder down to wrist. Now it's extending into neck. I don't have insurance till Sept. when Medicare kicks in. I did pay to go to doc's and he said bursitis and gave me etodolac (an NSAID). Well, have taken for a few days and it's doing nothing. My Advil PM works better. I think it might be an impingement problem. does any 1 have any suggestions until my insurance kicks in. Thanks, steph

Thank you so much for your reply. I didn't know that doctors replied unless you paid them. I am grateful for your input:)

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL

Hello!

You can take advil as this also an NSAID for your pain relief. You can use ice packs to decrease the inflammation. You would need to limit movements and lifting of weight on the effected side till properly diagnosed. You would need some scans and an orthopedic follow up.

Take care!
