Tingling and cold feet

About two weeks ago, I broke my ankle and leg in three places. I had an emergency operation. Now I am wearing a cast. My feet are always tingling and feeling cold. How can I stop it from doing that because I can't take it anymore? Other than my broken ankle and leg I am healthy.

Thanks, I am going to ask my ortho abou that. I went to them about a week ago and they gave me Neurontin. It work for a few hours but then the pain came right back.

my ankle was crushed in a car accident besides breaking my neck and my spleen rupturing and I was having pins and needles constantly in my foot and it too was driving me insane.  I called my doctor complaining cause the pain meds I was on just wasn't helping.  My ortho put me on Lyrica because it calms down the damaged nerves that are healing.  Maybe they can give you that.

My cast comes up to my knee. I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. Thank you a lot. I am going to try that.

Wiggle your toes as much as possible.Are both your feet cold&tingling? How far does your cast go?Chenille socks work really well-they really are warm. I had basically the same break w/hardware but I didn't have a cast therefore could bath after the sutures came out(about 2 wks) & that gave alot of comfort.Just move as much as you can to get circulation going.
