Getting To Know You....Off Topic, But Fun!!

Ok everyone, I saw a post like this over on the Maternal/Child forum and thought it would be a lot of fun to do it over here too.  We come on here and find such support from one another, and I know that we have so much more to share about ourselves than what we are able to share through our posts.  Aside from having cysts, what are you all about?  Who are you?

My name is Kasie, and I am 33 years old.  I have been married for 12 years (our anniversary was Sunday) and between the two of us we have 3 children. My son is 13, my step son is 12 and our daughter is 10 (she is specila needs.  She is autistis, has CP and has a seizure disorder).  I am a devoted Christian who loves to sing and dance.  I love: reading, cross stitching, playing games, talking online and on the phone, swimming, teaching, being with family and friends, and Mexican food.

Ok, that is a little about me, I would love to hear all about you all.

Hugs,
Kasie

My name is Sabrina, and I have been married to my 2nd husband for 19 years. He is a kind and caring man who spoils me rotten! God I love him! giggles.... We have 2 children, girl 17 who will be 18 in July and a boy 13. I also have 2 sons from previous marriage ages 24 and 30. I will turn 48 next week .(UGH)! We also are pet lovers and have 2 beautiful golden retrievers and 2 adorable cats. I work only part time at an American Legion Post and have been there a little over 8 years. I like reading, going to my sons baseball games, cooking on the grill, going to the lake, relaxing, wine, music, my laptop, soapnet, and so much more.. I am lucky in the fact that I can be lazy if I feel like it,Lol. My hubby and I will become 1st time grandparents in less than 8 weeks and my daughter and her baby (GIRL) will be living with us. She is so young to be having a baby and will need all of our help, OOOPs I just realized my days of being lazy if I feel like will be over!!! It will be sooo worth it....Nothing exciting in my life just a lot of love!

My name is Irene, been married almost 35 years (gosh, that makes me feel old), have 3 grown children. I've had heart arrhythmias all my life and have had 3 ablations (burning little spots inside the heart) to try to correct it all (not so successful). I've been working with orphaned and injured wildlife for 17 years now. Also enjoy books, fishing, Mexican food (yum!), cross stitch and am learning to quilt now. I also help out at the hospital with the "No One Dies Alone" program and the "Companion Quilts" program.

Good idea!

My name is Trudie.  I am 45 (46 in a month) and am in a very happy second marriage to Mark for the last 12 years.  I have a son, Greg, who is 22 and lives on his own.  I was diagnosed with ulcerative colitis when I was 21 and 10 years later ended up having an emergency total colon removal and a year later had an ileal pouch created to give me back my function.  Life definitely improved after that surgery which cured me.  My son is now living with that disease.  I am a gourmet cook, love to read (especially murder mysteries), and do stained glass work.  I have a spoiled 8 year old golden retreiver named Sarah and two cats.  I work in the software industry selling large accounting, inventory, manufacturing, service, etc. systems to large companies across North America.  I work out of my home office with some occasional travel.  My husband and I downsized a year ago into a smaller older home in a small town and we are thoroughly enjoying small town life and renovating our house.
