Complex right ovarian cyst
I am 18 years old. I use to get menses regularly. I got my last menses before 45 days. I dint get menses till the date. I went through ultra sound scanning to check pregnancy. The test found Right ovary shows a cyst with internal echoes measuring 57x52x41 mm in size. (Complex right ovary cyst). I would like to know that, whether this is harmful? And what should i do?
Cysts are benign most of the time, even complex cysts. Have you seen your doctor about it? What did he/she suggest the next step should be? Once it reaches 5 cm or bigger, they consider surgically removing it. Talk to your doctor about it. But try not to worry too much until you get more questions answered. Cysts are not too much to worry about most of the time; just a hassle to deal with. Good luck :)
