Laparscopic

I am having a Laparscopic done for my ovaries, and im nervous and full of questions. Will they put a cath in? Will the GA make me sick when I wake up? How long will it take me to recover?

I too am having a laparscopy on Nov 6th.  I have had one before to have my gallbladder out and it really was not bad at all.  I barely had any pain, did not get sick from the anesthesia.  I don't think you will have a catheter either or if you do, they will take it out before you wake up.  Are you having it outpatient?

The Ga may make you sick it verys each person. I get bad motion sickness and nausea so I ask for a scopalamein patch (probably spelt wrong) but its amazing. I felt bad the first day after and then felt good. Good luck
