Ovarian Complex Cyst Concern

Hello, I have been reading a lot over the last 6 months on Ovarian cysts.  I was diagnosed in late Feb, 08 with a complex cyst on my right ovary.  When I went for a follow up transvaginal ultrasound in May, they said it was resolving.  In Aug I started having more pain in the same area and more frequent periods.  I went for another ultrasound and foung that I have another complex cyst but it is irregular in shape.  I have also had an increase in urination, getting up 2 to 3 times a night.  I am always exhausted.  My stomache feels like I am ready to explode and my girth has gotten bigger.  My pants fit in all areas but are snug at the waist now.  My breasts are tender and I contstantly have gas and no appetite.  I get hungry but nothing sounds good and dont want to eat.  I go back for a follow up ultrasound on the 30th but in the mean time, as most of us are, I am concerned that I should be doing more testing.  Like I said, I have been reading up on the cysts and ovarian cancer symptoms for quite some time and am not sure if I should be worried or am I making too much of this.  No one in my family has had cancer.

All I could add is try not to read too much into some of the articles. It's good to be educated, but sometimes you can really worry yourself into a frenzy..I'm glad you're having another TVUS.. and the 30th isn't really that far away.. And remember what Trudie said ------95 % Benign!!! Keep that thought ! A nd keep us posted
Hope you feel better,
Sandy

With ovarian cysts over 95% are benign but we always need to be vigilant just in case.  I had the same symptoms as you with mine and all came out benign.   Has your doctor run a CA-125 blood test?  Other than that I don't think there is much more they can do until your next transvag ultrasound.  Do push them very hard afterwards to get surgery booked as quickly as possible.  The waiting and wondering is the worst and you need some relief.  Please keep us posted.
