Hi,
I really think you should wait for further tests with your doctor to determine what kind of cysts and/or the changes they are making.  Please, I know it's difficult not to search the Internet about your symptoms etc but it's not a good idea to self diagnose.

Do you have the follow-up appointment?  Write all your questions down so you'll be prepared when you see the doctor.

Take care.

Hi,
Functional cysts are very very common in premenopausal  women and 95 % benign.. Usually they are monitored for a few months to determine if they shrink, disappear altogether or enlarge. Usually anything 5cm and over is a candidate for removal, but mine was smaller and was removed. However , I'm postmenopausal and the guidelines are a little different.
Regarding the CA-125, the American Cancer Society does not recommend this test as a screening tool unless there are other symptoms in younger women. There are too many other factors that will elevate the numbers..

Good luck,
Sandy
