Recurrent Hemorrhagic Ovarian Cysts

My name is Hope and I am 20 years old. About 2 years ago, I was taken to the hospital due to an intense pain on the right side of my abdomen that we were concerned was my appendix. At the hospital, I was diagnosed with PCOS. They said the cyst that had ruptured was about 4cm in size so there was no need to do surgery. Since that incident, I have been following up with my doctor and getting occasional ultrasounds. There always seems to be some hemorrhagic cysts but none of large sizes. (maybe 2cm) They are constantly rupturing and I experience alot of pain but the doctors say that there is nothing that they can do. My situation gets complicated because I also have overactive ovaries. Last time I saw my ob/gyn, I was told that I had 8 cysts on my right ovary and 4 on my left. She asks if I am in pain and I tell her no. I am only in pain when they rupture. Until then, I cannot tell they are there. She put my on birth control and it just seemed to make them worse. I also miscarried last year at about 5 weeks. Please help me. Should I see a new ob/gyn? Should I get my ovaries removed?
