Update on cysts

Hi,

42 year old female, history of endometriosis

I posted on here a couple of months ago,  Would appreciate your insight on the following.  I had a follow-up transvaginal u/s today and it shows one cyst has resolved, the other is resolving but has leaked fluid which can be seen on u/s   My gyno said if the cysts were still there she'd remove my left ovary.  Not sure why??  Also will that fuild go away by itself? I've been having more pain than usual in the ovaries so would that be why?

Another question.  I've been having slight bleeding from rectum at times and painful bowel motions.  Saw a GP and he said i had a hemmorhoid plus he could feel an extracolonic mass in my rectum.  The lady today doing the u/s threw in her 2 cents worth and said the lump he felt could be the fibroid on my uterus which is right at the top of the uterus.  Anyone had anything similar??  I have to have a colonoscopy but don't know what for as the lump is outside the bowel??

Also, I have matting of the sigmoid colon from endo but all the gastrentorologist says is "It's a mess and I don't like doing colonoscopies because it could perforate the bowel."  He's never suggested having it removed.  I wonder if this matting of the sigmoid colon could make me feel sick, as I feel sick a lot.  I think maybe some of the sickness is from my endo in my ovaries, uterus, etc but any suggestions about what I should do about this endo on the bowel?

It's a shame when he have to be our own doctors but I guess that's what forums like this are for.

I see my gyno next week to find out if i'm having hysteroscopy or more extensive surgery.  I also had thickened endometrium and high CA125 with last lost of u/s and test so don't know what she'll say next week.  All a bit much at the moment especially with this NEW lump in the colon or wherever the heck it is!!

HI...sounds like you have alot going on. I hope you get some answers and help soon. As far as your question about the fluid from the cyst. I was told not to worry...your body will absorb the fluid. When my cyst burst...it hurt really bad. I had about another full week of pain and then it got better...it was if I could feel when the last of it had absorbed. Weird. Hope things fall into place for you soon. God bless...Lynn

Hi There,
I had a similar experience as you. On Oct 15t, I had a robotic hysto/bso/appy for sever endo, suspicious lesions on my ovaries and huge fibroids. When the gyn/onc got in there, I guess it was quite a mess. My ovaries and uterus were stuck to my rectum and the posterior cervix. I had 12 fibroids, multiple masses on my ovaries....yuck, just a major mess. The mass he felt by doing a rectal exam was in fact a large fibroid in my uterus and since it was all stuck together and pasted to my rectum, I too had a lot of problems with my bowels. I would fluctuate from constipation and painful bowel movements to diarrhea. I had problems with my bladder and just alot of pelvic pain. Back pain, thigh pain. You name it and I had it.
Endo causes a real mess with your insides. It glues everything together. My onc told me he would not leave my ovaries because the endo would probably return and then I would be in a mess in another couple of years...
I hope you get some answers to all this and keep us posted.
Take Care
