This is how our pain management clinic is. They do not ever prescribe over the phone. A med change always requires an appointment. It's their policy, they don't want you to suffer hon. I'm so glad they are able to get you in so quickly. I usually have to wait two weeks before getting a new appoinment and there are no replacement meds. I still have two weeks before my next appointment and I've been in unbearable pain for weeks. I hate it too and it makes time go by so slowly.

I am so sorry! I was really hoping it was going to help! Did you experience any relief at all last night? I really hope you al least got to experience some sort of relief for however shortlived it was.
Can I ask you a HUGE favor? A lot of the time when I come on here I do it on my iphone, and will be doing so again after work throughout the evening and it's really hard scrolling all the way down here, can you start another post? I'm sorry to ask but it would make it a lot easier for me
It is understandable that he would want to see you before he prescribed anything.
Be sure to take your photos with you on Friday. It will answer at lot of questions for your physician.
My youngest son has multiple allergies and had asthma as a baby and young child. They could not test him with complete accuracy until he was four, although I assume that may have changed. Anyway I was very cautious to avoid the things that most ppl are allergic too. He wanted a kitty and I refused thinking surely he was allergic to cats. Instead I got him a puppy. Yep, you guessed it. He is allergic to dogs. He had no reaction what-so-ever to cat dander!
You just never know!

What did he say about continuing the meds until then?
I really hate this for you!!!!!! It really pisses me off actually. Do you have any phenergen or anything to take for the throwing up? Did he say whether or not you should take it anymore? I heard in the pregnancy forum that taking half a Unisom tablet helps morning sickness. I know that's not your exact problem (or surpise it is?, lol j/k) but it may help. Also they recommend eating small meals more frequently so you don't get really hungry before you eat again.
I'm really sorry you're going through this.
