swollen ovarie?

my sister in law wanted me to ask this question:

she thinks that her left ovarie is swollen, she claims that she can see the swelling and has mild pain
once in a while, she also claims to have naseau sometimes, does she have a serious condition?

What a good brother-in-law you are. I bet that your sister-in-law appreciates your kindness and concern.

If she is able to palpate an ovary that signifies quit an enlargement. She needs to make an appt with her PCP or gynecology. She should not wait if the ovary is that enlarged.

There is also a Gynecology Forum on MedHelp that may have additional suggestions. It is my guess they will offer the same suggestion but it is certainly worth a look. Just click on the forum icon and our Forums are listed alphabetically.

Your Sister-in-Law needs to make an appt. with her Physician. If she is experiencing pain and swelling, it is time for a Gynecologist.
There are no Doctors in this forum. We are here for support and our own personal advise. We cannot medically advise or diagnose her problem.
