Pain 3 years after hysterectomy

I had a partial hysterectomy in 2006, I was 22 at the time, the doctor only took my left ovary and left tube out, and then in 2008 I was 24 at this time, I had a total hysterectomy, everything was taken out then, well now here for the past couple days I have been cramping, like period cramping, and it gets really painful, I mean to the point of crying, and I was wanting to see if maybe anyone could give me a clue as to what it could be.

Jen, have you gone to your doctor?  I had a hysterectomy in 2008 -Ovaries left in tact.  About 13 months ago I started having horrible cramping and pain that brought me to the emergency room.  They took a CT and said everything was "fine".  A month later I was at urgent care again and they found a "small cyst in my left ovary". Long story short -after yet another emergency room run, that "little cyst" inside my ovary (which should be the size of an almond) grew to 4cm (yes cm, not mm) in a few months!  My right ovary already has two cysts in it and will have to be taken out at some point (my dr wants to try to preserve it as long as possible).  You should not have pain years after your hysterectomy.  Go to the doctor.  If they send you home, don't give up.  Insist on an ultrasound if you can.
