Pain Relief

I had numerous gall bladder attacks, two of which sent me to the hospital and I was admitted.  While a patient, I was given morphine.  When I was dismissed, I wasn't sent home with any pain prescriptions.  My primary care physician during the attacks also gave me nothing for pain.  I am currently experiencing a lot of pain on my right side, of which the neurologist says is in my spine. Again nothing for pain. I smoke weed, and don't hide the fact.  During the first admission, they detected the THC.  I don't understand and intend to take the hospital and my physician (who works for the hospital, but has an office near there) to court. Please advise.

Come on. You should just go to the nearest county hospital and stay there until you are hospitalized for surgery. Gall bladders don't get well. Pain meds in your situation are a stop-gap, not for acute pain. Your'e being perceived as drug-seeking...are you? In the meantime, you're seriously putting your health at risk with your gall bladder. Shut up about the weed, and I don't care if you do think I'm rude. Get yourself well. Geez.

Does your state allow medical marijuana?    Though even if they do, some doctors don't agree with it and will not give pain meds to patients who smoke.  Our state only recently voted for medical marijuana.  My pain management doctors and my primary, though, will not give narcotics to amyone who smokes.  That's not against the law.  I don't think you have a case against the hospital or any of the doctors.  I'm not trying to be rude.  I worked in medical malpractice for mamy, many years.  What exactly would the damages be?  Lots of doctors don't prescribe narcotics as a policy of their practice.   Other doctors insist their patients see a pain management doctor for treatment of chronic pain.  Are there any plans in place by any doctor as to what to do for your pain?  I just feel like there's a piece missing here.

Why would you take them to court because they detected THC?
