I had foot surgery and I was doing great weaned down to only Vicodin and only at bed but went for a post op appt they had to dig for a few surtures took of casting put me in a boot AM allowed to put slight pressure on the heel only  any way can you say going back wards in pain !so I called my cdoc they are going to mailme a script for oxycodone which I took after surgery I don't live there the office so they have to mail it but in the mean time I do still have Vicodin but they really are nit helping . I do have tramadol from my rheumatologist which I can fill in the mean time but then will I be able to fill the oxycodone on Monday ?

hello mictim;  i would just add that to be perfectly safe about this as far as how the doctors might see it you will want to get the ok from them. since it is wkend that is a problem for sure so maybe call and leave message or ??? it is tricky business being cp. otherwise i think so scared is right and you will be ok.  om

I believe that since they are different scripts and different kids of medications, that yes you should be able to fill them both. If you do end up having any problems, just have the dr's office call your pharmacy and let them know the situation, but I don't think it should be a problem. Just be careful with all those powerful meds!
