Yes I have taken them together but was told by the Dr that the combination will cause marked drowsiness.

Like Tuck said, did the same two physicians prescribe these drugs together? To me, this sounds unusual putting an Amphetamine and an opiate together. I almost seems dangerous. Call the Pharmacy or the Doc who did the prescribing. They will have a good answer. There are no Doctors in this forum and it seems like a good question to ask a professional.  Good luck, Mollyrae

I am so sorry that I don't have that answer right now. Did the ame physician perscribe them for you? Did you obtain them form the same pharmacy? When I have a question like thatg I call my pharmist because they have better knowledge about medications that most physicians. I will do some research but I really think you should give the pharmacist a call. Best of Luck and take care. Tuck
