I am so glad your having a great day. Everyones birthday should be great. Well until I hit 40 then Im not having anymore, that is just me tho oh and my husband lol
I don't blame you on the morphine, you want your pain under control but you don't want to be so sleepy either. So if they both work the same on your pain I would go back too.

I'm waiting on that chocolate cake!!!  This morphine (I think) is making want to eat ALL the time.  (I hardly ever eat.)

Thanks everyone!  It was a pretty nice day.  My oldest daughter gave me a beautiful necklace that says "Mother/friend/daughter" on 3 little charms.  And we are good friends; I'll miss her tons when she goes off to college in August.

Then I had a nice lunch with the BF/ex-BF/friend ... we have a complicated (but good) relationship.  We were going to dinner but the kids were all in different directions so we're shooting for another night.

And I got gorgeous flowers from my sister (who is on vacation in San Francisco ... SHE has one of those lives that you can live vicariously through.  No kids so she does a lot of fun things.  But I wouldn't give up the kids for anything!)

I'll be making a decision on the morphine by tomorrow.  I feel like the pain reduction is about equal between the morphine and the oxycodone, but I'm not as tired on the oxycodone; so that's what I'm leaning to.  I check in with the NP at the pain clinic tomorrow.
