If I remember correctly the Oxy's have been bothering you since you began taking them.
I don't want to suggest a specific med but if you ask your pharmacist he may be able to suggest something that will ease your stomach issues. In fact he may even contact your physician. If not you should contact your PCP for directives.
My best to you.

When I was taking lortab 6-7 pills a day, I had terrible stomach issues, to the point I went to see a G.I. doctor and had an ultrasound on my digestive organs and they were planning an endoscopy, when I was switched to another med and didn't take all the acetomenophen every day, the stomach pain was almost gone.
I have a sensitive stomach and have to eat every time I take my meds and not just crackers. I do feel that it helps my meds work a little better even, but that may be all in my head or because I'm not feeling as queesy.
I have also been getting heartburn lately for other reasons and chewing a couple of Tums. They actually work pretty well, but like Sara said, it's best to ask the doctor as they can tell you if it will interfere with your meds or not.
Hi! You might want to ask your family doctor (or your pain doctor at your next visit) if taking an OTC acid reducer would be beneficial. Sometimes they can interfere with other meds so be sure to check with a doctor or pharmacist.
I take prescription meds as all the NSAIDS I used left me with an ulcer. You don't want one of those!
Make sure that you eat when you're taking it. not a lot because that can make it slightly less effective, but you need to have at least a few crackers on your stomach...narcotics are notoriously rough if you take them without food, but they don't absorb as well when you eat....it's a conundrum. If you have consistant stomach pain and eating doesn't help enough, you may have a hiatal hernia. it's a hernia in your stomach or esophagus that can cause pain and bleeding but is otherwise harmless....hurts like heck though. I developed one because I was originally treating my pain in middle/high school by taking 4 aspirins and 2 sudafeds every time I had a headache and it would knock me asleep (I had to do this probably 8 times a week...some days I had to dose more than once)....didn't help the pain...and it destroyed my stomach. now every time I take ANY pill it feels like a knife in my gut so I HAVE to eat when I take them...that helps a bit :).
