possible spine injury or trauma?

last night while carrying my baby he bent backwards and i swear i heard the scariest sound of breaking bones. my pedia assured me it's ok because the baby is ok and no swelling nor fever. still, i am afraid there might be spine injury or whatever.. please help..

If he is well then dont worry , if he had a spinal injury I think something would have shown up and if the doctor examined him and didn't order an xray I would say baby is okay.However I always think that if he seems unwell I would take him back and ask for an xray
