Lump on Forehead, one year old not from injury

I took my son in for his one year check up.  The doctor does not like the bump on his forehead, it has been there for at least 6 months..not changing in size, he also has not gained weight in at least 3 months.  Sent for an xray, came back with abnormal skull shape and now I have to see a neurosurgeon.... I am looking everywhere for some answers.. I get the call after hours so I dont even know how soon I can get him in.  He is walking like crazy, developing at the normal pace.  She said it could be nothing, but of course I am thinking worse case.  Anyone ever go thru this?

Not me personally but I have heard of cysts that can grow anywhere It could also be a Lipoma   there are a lot of bumps and  lumps out there, they may biopsy it to be sure . If you do some research you will see a lot of folks have them , its good you are having it checked out. good Luck
