bump on side of babys head

My 10 mo old falls a lot, and fell off my bed a few weeks ago, and acts just fine... but he also falls ont oys and whatnot. So i notiecd the other day he has a soft slightly raised gooseegg on the side of his head, and it seems to be going down a bit, but I noticed a tiny hard bump along his coronal suture. does anyone know if this could be related to the bump from the fall, or what a cyst feels like... or if it could be normal development of the skull. I have a hard bump on the back of my head that the dr said is normal.

I m a health worrier , and wanna make an appt for the dr to feel it, should i make an appt for peace of mind? Just wondering if anyone has seen or felt this with their LO.

wow ... looking back at these threads i made .. i was soo obsessive :( Ive come a long way... the soft bump wwent away about 2-3 mo later after i noticed it.. and i no longer obsess over bumps, and things on my son. I think i was also suffering a major anxiety disorder.... which i still am, but i might be getting better :)

Ty for you reply..!! I took him in today, and she said the soft raised spot is def a bruise/bump from a fall, and that she is almost positive he is fine , but wants to check up on him in a week to make sure its healing. As for the small hard lil bumps, she said its his sutures of his skull cuz they arent fully closed yet.. whew.. i feel so much better. lol

Wen my daughter was at tht age she fell a lot too and I also noticed that bump, I got it checked out and the doc said it was just her skull developing. BUT take him just incase, cuz I know it can get nerve wrecking.
