hy my daughter had an appoiment with her eye doctor because her teachers have told me that even with her wearing her glasses,she still haves to get up infront of the chalk board to see.,the eye doctor checked her and told me that he didn't see any progression of her vision that it was still the same..and that he couldn't do anything,so he was going to send her to clara mass medical center for her to get more test done...why he could do do test? why is he sending me to the medical center to get test done ? thank you in advanced...

He is probably wanting them to diagnose something he does not have the equipment to diagnose. My family has an eye condition that cannot reliably be diagnosed or treated by an opthamologist, it has to be handled by a specialist.
You absolutely want your child to be diagnosed by a pediatric eye specialist. It is truly a specialty all in its own, and also, the sooner some situations are rescued the better. Good luck to you and your daughter.
