7lbs 15oz, 20 inches even.
I was on pitocin for 24 hrs only dialated to almost five, come to find out his head was on my cervix cutting circulation off do i couldn't dilate. Had to get the epi, blood pressure spiked and he was stressing, ended up getting a second five hours later, the first only numbed my outside not in, but as soon as the second was over his heart rate dropped to the fifties no matter how they laid me, got rushed to the or where it was lower and ten minutes later, Ethan Lee Daniel was born via emergency c-section. He had qhat they call a true knot. His umbilical cord was tied into an honest to god knot that had tightend and cut his blood off. They said even if had dialted more it still would have been a c-section. He is perfect though, apgar of 8&9 and nursing very well right away.

Thanks girls. Im so glad hes here and safe, hes passed every test with flying colors, is nursing beautifully, and just great. It still rocks my world thinking how if he had dropping into the canal any farther i wouldnt be holding him. We were told it was extremely rare, less than 1% of babies are born with a true knot. Makes me crazy thinking i could have lost him.
