Not dilating

So I'm 38 weeks and I had my doctors appointment yesterday and my cervix is closed. When they said they scheduled me to be induced it won't be till 4 days after my due date! If she decides not to come on time. I'm disappointed to say the least knowing that no progress has been made. Anyone have this happen to them? Advice on how to speed up the process? Is there any hope at being able to have her on time?

Try evening primrose oil!! & sex, they both contain prostaglandins that should help you efface and dilate.

Dont worry that has happened to me with my first son. My doctor made me wait 10 until i was induced. I tried everything to go in labor an nothing happened sometimes  different things work sometimes. My second was born four days earlier of his due because i wasnt  dilating. Im 33 weeks with my first daughter hopefully by now i actually go in labor without being induced
