Weakness In Leg After Baby

I just had a baby a week and a half ago; I had an epidural. My left leg, while I have feeling in it, is very weak. I can lift my right leg with ease, however I have to strain to lift my left leg just an inch off the ground. Is this something that gets better over time or should I consider physical therapy?

there are several side effects from the epidural. when you got the epidural what side went more numb left or right? Try running warm water over it in the shower. it also can be a pinched nerve .

Tell your doctor.  He might want to check you for deep vein thrombosis.
