yes if your pregnancy is 5 weeks your baby would be 2 weeks younger technicly when counted from fertilization.
I was 6 wks. apprently, or less.
and okayy, thank you for your help! im asking cause i know my body, and it norm goes back to normal it did last time after a miscarrige (I was 8wks) and my termination which was a third trimester. (Long story) and i figured it would go back to normal, my stomach is all hard and i am getting symptomss its just confusing hha :) x
i found this on the internet. how far along where you on your pregnancy when your misscariage on april 11 to see if you would have an accurate result with a pregnancy test.
Ovulation is the determining factor on when it is theoretically possible to get pregnant again after a miscarriage. Some women resume ovulating on a normal schedule right away following a miscarriage, especially if it was a chemical pregnancy or other early miscarriage, so it is theoretically possible for these women to conceive again a mere two weeks after the miscarriage. (Ovulation usually happens about two weeks into a 28-day menstrual cycle.)
But not everyone goes right back into a normal menstrual cycle without delay. Sometimes it can take two to three months for ovulation to return, especially with later pregnancy losses, and in these cases it is obviously not possible to conceive again for a longer time. And there's a huge amount of variation among individuals, and no hard and fast rules apply. Some women might take two months or longer to resume ovulation after an early miscarriage, and some women who have full-term pregnancy losses may go back to having normal cycles the month after the loss.
That does make alot of sense because my partner comes to mine saturdays due to work and they were both saturdays, so you know! haha! thank you, if i am the pregnancy is 5wks but the baby is 2 weeks less is that right? if that makes any sense?
Thank you.
x
I understandd, Thank you soo much you'v been a great help! i was going to take a test the date of my next period is due. the 1st of june. but I could be 5 or 6 wks if I am, althought my miscarrige was 5 wks ago? after my MC my levels went down straight away and I had a neg pregnancy test 3 days later.
Sorry forgot to say that part.
Thank you so much :) x
counting from your misscarriage as your lmp (april 11) you would be 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant
and counting from the day you had sex (april 17) you would be about 6 weeks, and your due date would be on january 8.
in a 28 day cycle you would have ovulated on april 24, the only way you could have gotten pregnant on april 17 is that you had ovulated about a week early or about 48-72 hours after april 17.
you could have ovulated early and gotten pregnant or you could have ovulated late and get your period later.
i you are pregnant then you would be about 6 weeks pregnant and your due date would be on january 8 but you could be about 2 to 3 days off if you ovulated 2 or 3 days later.
sorry i could not help you much.
the only way to really know is to do a pregnancy test, a pregnancy test could give a false positive i you had been pregnant recentley but 5 weeks could be enough for the HCG levels to go down.
Do a Due date calculator on the internet and it will tell you how many weeks your pregnant and when your due date will be, there’s one on baby center.
a urine home pregnancy can work 5 days before you miss your period but its less accurate, so you should wait till the day of your missed period to be 99% accurate.
This is what my EPT says:
-4 days before your missed period: 53% accurate
-3 days before your missed period: 74% accurate
-2 days before your missed period: 84% accurate
-1 day before your missed period: 87% accurate
The first day of your missed period ( may 25) 99% accurate.
I would advise you to buy the test on may 25 and read the instructions first and do the test when you wake up on may 26 without drinking any liquids and using your first morning urine ( first urine of the day) cause that way the urine is more concentrated and the HCG levels are easier to detect.
Remember to use first morning urine and read the instructions before doing it.
Good luck and I hope you get a big POSITIVE.
