difficulty swallowing?

If I am pregnant, I will be exactly 10 days pregnant on May 21st. I don't know if this is a symptom or not, but I am having some weird trouble swallowing - like my body or throat forgot how to sometimes. Is this a sign of pregnancy? (I am also off my psychiatric medications for tourettes and anxiety - that might also be the cause, but I'm hoping it's pregnancy.)

Pregnancy is counted from LMP (last day of menstrual period), so on the first day of your last menstrual period your already 1 day pregnant, by your ovulation day ( may 11) your already 2 weeks pregnant, and by the day you miss your period ( may 25), your already 4 weeks pregnant, (weird, but that’s how pregnancy is measured). So your actually 3 weeks pregnant now. If you are pregnant the blastocist would be implanting it self in your uterine wall between 7-10 days, so it would be occurring between today and Friday aprox, during implantation you may get cramping, like when your period is about to come, at least I did, with all my pregnancies.

Do a Due date calculator on the internet and it will tell you how many weeks your pregnant and when your due date will be, there’s one on baby center.

a urine home pregnancy can work 5 days before you miss your period but its less accurate, so you should wait till the day of your missed period to be 99% accurate.

This is what my EPT says:

-4 days before your missed period: 53%  accurate
-3 days before your missed period: 74%  accurate
-2 days before your missed period: 84%  accurate
-1 day before your missed period:  87%   accurate
The first day of your missed period ( may 25)  99% accurate.

I would advise you to buy the test on may 25 and read the instructions first and do the test when you wake up on may 26 without drinking any liquids and using your first morning urine ( first urine of the day) cause that way the  urine is more concentrated and the HCG levels are easier to detect.

Remember to use first morning urine and read the instructions before doing it.

Hi I hve a question for youuu, I had an Mc about 8 wks ago now and had unprotected sex as i had a termination in Nov and regret it and the had my Mc and yeah anyways, I know im young, but i believe to be mature as from the age of 5 ive had to act ALOT older due to domestic violence all my life basically. Anywayss.

I havent had a period yet and have symptoms of pregnancy although ive never had morning sickness with either of my pregnancies which was a plus :) Anyways.

if i done the calculator what would i do my dates from?

Yes, a pregnancy test can show up right now. However, if you get a negative retest in another 4-5 days. What you have going on sounds more like it "could" be anxiety. Is your mouth dry at all? A side effect or antidepressants, and antipsychotics is dry mouth. Put a call into your Dr. and ask him. When you have problems swallowing, it can cause you to aspirate food or fluid into your lungs, and can be fatal. As an almost nurse people with this diagnoses are always on a thickened, soft (puree) diet, to prevent aspiration. It could be anxiety, or could be something more severe, so I would definitely ask your Dr.

ha not even sure what you mean by 3 weeks.?.. Since conception? - if that's the case I'm on day 7.. I'm probably jumping the gun on this, I'm just hoping too be a mommy and actually made a mistake that I posted about separately... The other post is consuming me at the moment.

I don't know I am pregnant. My husband and I are trying and I am hoping. We had sex during ovulation on May 11th, so it's not 3 weeks yet.. not even 10 days yet.. Will a blood test even work this early?
