Can you get an std other than sexual contact?
I am planning on buying a used ipod touch and a used phone from CL. I am curious to know that if the people I get these items from, say, are not clean or have a sanitary life or they have an std and they use these items every day and i touch them can i get infected? I know it may sound ridiculous but I am paranoid. Or let's say they have an std and masturbate then touch these items and do not clean them or anything then i go and touch them and use them can i get infected? If possible would it have to happen in a matter of seconds?
Yes I know it is just very easy for everyone to say. For me it is the hardest thing, it is like an addiction (kinda). I have tried trust me!
I think you should talk to a professional too. life is too short to be this concerned needlessly about germs!!!!
I am just paranoid I think I need professional help because I am becoming more distant with family and friends just because I do not want them to touch me or me touching them (but that is another story). Thanks for ur comment :)
why so much std paranoia in all your posts?
we call them sexually transmitted infections for a reason - it takes that sort of naked and intimate contact to transmit std's. they aren't something you will contract from electronic devices.
