Confused and Scared

Three weeks ago I had an oral surgery and the doctor prescribed me penicillin for 10 days. On the second day I started to itch and I knew I had a yeast infection. I consulted a doctor and was told that it would not help to prescribe the diflucan until I was done with the meds. One week ago I took the diflucan and now I have a sore by my peritoneum, I am so scared because I dont want to have genital herpes. I never had this happen before. When I had the yeast infection it was very bad and my vagina and by my anus was very itcy, red and sore. I am still having a little discharge but the itching is gone. I think that the sore came from the yeast infection. Do you have any insight on this. The sore is painful and it burns when i urinate

Best thing to do is to be seen and get this properly looked at. get tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally to see if you still have vaginitis going on.

odds are neither you nor your partner have ever been tested for herpes before. while it's on your mind, both of you get tested to see who has what and go from there.

grace

ps you can't see your peritoneum dear....he he he

Hi

You don't get gential herpes form having oral surgery.   Do/did you have any other event happen like Unprotected sex or something like that?

Also how do you know you have a sore "by [your] peritoneum" ?    Please use simple words when it comes to these forums, it will help us all (even me).
