well we really can't help  you very well until you find out exactly what hpv was +. If it was an hpv test with a pap, you need to find out if your pap was abnormal too and if you have low risk or high risk hpv.  perhaps do some reading on hpv in general before you go for your check up and write down a list of questions so that you are fully prepared to get better answers from your provider when you are seen next. The hpv info at www.ashastd.org is terrific and there's also info on gardasil there too.

I dont see any warts, so maybe it's abnormal pap test. All I know is that the findings of the test said that I am HPV+.I don't know about gardasil. What is it?The doctor didn't do anything because he said that it will just disappear.I am scheduled to have a check-up soon to see if it has disappeared or not.

We normally use condom except that day.I think I have hpv+.He knows that I'm worried but I doubt it if he goes to the doctor to be tested. He told me about being infected before and that he's fine  but here I am with HPV.

did you have an abnormal pap result that was hpv+ or an external genital wart?

you would have to have a partner infected with hiv to get hiv. hpv doesn't turn into hiv.

do you talk about std's and testing with your partners prior to sex? do you use condoms?
