"Protected" Condom Sex with Professional Sex Worker

Dear Doc,

A couple of days ago I visited a professional sex worker. I've noticed that she had big marks of rape os somekind of abuse. She put me a condom, cleaned my body with wet wipes and started doing me oral sex. After a few minutes she inserted my penis into her vagina and very gently started to move up and down...it took me a minute before I pushed her away telling her that I want oral sex only. She continued with oral sex... After the intecourse I asked for a wet whipe and pulled down the condom, not touching it. Than I went to the bathroom and washed my penis with soap - I used a lot of soap and water, but didn't take a shawer. I didn't touch her vagina nor mouth, but massaged her breasts. I've been reading articles and formums for STDs since than and got VERY CONFUSED. I guess some of her vaginal fluids got in touch with my body or some saliva got in touch with my body.

Please tell me what are the chances I got STDs from the described stupid mistake I made?

I'm SCARED TO DEATH about my family as I have a life and we've been trying to have a baby.

Er maybe because you don't think about it like that at the time of the deed and clearly with the benefit of hindsight he can see what he did was wrong and I'm sure wouldn't do it again. Oh if only we all had you all seeing oraclesque gandhi powers. Not quite sure how that is "easing his concerns"

I actually meant to say get her tested so sorry for being unclear Blurt and I don't think you were worried about getting herpes on your arm were you because otherwise I would have clarified skin to skin contact aswell!

I'm sorry if this is a sensitive topic for you, London.  However, as humans, we are responsible for, and have control over, our actions and our thoughts.

I wasn't judging anything based on a morality.  I was simply saying that if this concerns him so much, and he is so fearful about his family, that his actions contradict that.  I have said that to countless others here who have done the same thing he has (and apparently you have), and they have thanked me for pointing it out.

And since we all seem to have missed the major point here - Blurt's risks are quite low - protected oral and intercourse.

Thank you for easing me to get out of this terrible situation. I haven't had contact with my wife for four days and even with my baby. This is horrible. Now, I'm sure I won't do such stupid and selfish things again.

Back to the subject. There is still something which isn't clear for me. Can I get STD from her saliva's or vaginal fluids touching the area around my penis? I wore a condom and I do think that it remained intact - at least I haven't seen any damage. I'm not sure if any of her vaginal fluids could touch my body for such a short intercourse. In addition, she did me an oral sex after I pushed her out. I'm also concerned if she may have had some herpes, syphilis or other STD formations to her body touching my naked body arround my penis. Is it possible to get infected in this way?

At last. Which deseases should I check for and when?

Thank you again for answering to my questions.

One more thing: Both Oral and Vaginal Sex were "protected" with the same condom.

My biggest concern is if some fluids or touch with STD formations to my body may have leaded to infection. What if she touched my anys with her fingers, for example. I don't recall she touched my anus, but I was so frightened so I may have missed something. In Fact I got errection for a very short time. About 10-20 seconds after she inserted my penis into her vaigna I lost errection and pushed her back. Than I got some miserable errection during the oral sex and finished very quickly, as I wanted to run away as soon as possible.

I have a message to all people reading this forum. NEVER GO TO PROSTITUTES - NEVER!!!

auntjessie, pretty low aren't you. How dare you start making libellous accusations as to my private life just because I think your comments lacked medical focus and weren't necessary or helpful. Perhaps you should limit yourself to medical advice instead of making caustic insinuations about other members such as myself. Unlike you I wasn't banging on about what he should or shouldn't have done and so didn't miss the point at all, I said his risks were low from the outset. Good day and good riddance.

Blurt, one of my dental friends had herpetic whitlow on his fingers from the high exposure they tend to get to HSV1 in that profession. If it isn't there by now then chances are you're in the clear mate, 2-20 days is the normal incubation period, symptoms can include a tingling in the infected finger followed by localised swelling caused by oedema. Good luck.

Just re-read your post, the only thing she could realistically have transferred to your anus with her fingers is gonorrhoea but she would have had to have her own vaginal secretions all over her fingers and probably actually inserted then into you anus for this to be a viable mode of transmission. Pain on passing stools and an abnormal anal discharge are the symptoms of gonorrhoea in this case. If you are worried, go to a clinic and sort it out. really, seriously, do that, it will put your mind at rest
