STD CONCERN! Please help
Hi I️ am a female and jus a couple months ago I️ had an encounter with a male friend. We did not have sex because I️ was on my period and had a tampon in but there was lots of rubbings and frottage and he tried to go inside but I️ stopped him plus I️ I️ had in a tampon. the tip was just pressuring against my tampon and I️ told him stop and he went back to rubbing . I️ started to get a burning sensation and we stopped . A week later I️ went to the doctor and they told me I️ had trichomoniasis. I️ was confused because I didn’t have sex with him but some people say u can get it from frottage some people say u only can get it from penetration and I️ want to know which is true ? Cuz he didn’t penetrate me which also gives me another worry because after the fact it was a rumor that he had HIV. That’s been taking a huge toll on me and my anxiety , I️ kno u have to penetrate to get hiv and have sex which I️ didn’t but how did I️ get Trich? Are they spread the same? I’m really scared and need advise PLEASE help.

So I️ shouldn’t worry about the head of his penis pressing against my tampon? That’s my main concern here .
Was it inside your body ? If is was, there was penetration and risk.
I️ thought penetration was all the way in , it was basically jus his head in a tiny bit pressing against my tampon and I️ told him stop immediately.
That’s the confusing part because it was barely in due to my tampon being and and also I️ wouldn’t let him in it was basically like he tried to go in and I️ stopped him
I️ know for a fact it wasn’t INSIDE but it was at the entering not necessarily inside tho jus enough to touch my tampon which is very visible
