About 45 days ago I performed oral on a another guy for less than 5 minutes. He did not ejaculate on or in me at all. He also performed oral on me. About 20 days after the encounter, I thought I might have gotten an STD. I went to the doctor and got tested for everything. All the tests came back negative. Around 44 days after the encounter, I developed a terrible sore throat and some drainage.
When I got tested, I only did urine and blood testing. I did not have a throat swab. To be more specific, I didn't even have any symptoms of an STD at all, but rather got tested just to make sure I was clean. I haven't had any sex since that time.
If I had pharyngeal (throat) gonorrhea, would it have presented itself earlier than 45 days after my encounter? Maybe I am just a little paranoid about a sore throat, but I just want to make sure I don't need to do more testing. The doctor I saw didn't even suggest a throat swab. Please help.
