im 21 and havent been sexually active for about 1 month and 2 weeks 3 days ago i start noticing irritating penis tip were da mouth is, its only a little red and swollen ive been puttin oitment has been workin kinda good so far and ive been havin a lower abdominal pain like from 1-10 like a 4 in pain sumtimes go's down to 2 but im just scared its not no std cause it dont burn when i pee it does hurt in the tip a little but doesnt burn at all,,can it be a male yiest infection or sum other sort of infection plz help me doc thanks
thanx for ur reply my lower abdomin pain is very very low now 2 da point it really dont bother me but i can still feel a little sensation on it but no pain buts so ever they prescribed me cipro 500 mg to take twice daily and i only have about 4 left would it be a good idea 2 seem him again for a refill cause i still feel that lower abdomin pain
Sorry once again, this time I came down with a cold. Since there are no infections present in the urine, your urine problems could be of another sort of problem not related to your exposure. Just keep up with the antibiotics and if this does not clear up, go back to him, just as he addressed.
hey aelly yesterday i had an apointment with my doctor i told him my symptoms still occur but very low not as bad as before which is the lower abdomin pain and a little burning after urinating,..he said he wanted 2 further invistigate this he took another sample of urine for any infections and he gave me the results that same hour cause they tested it there at the clinic he said i have no signs of infection in urine,.so he prescribed me 2 antiboitics which are phenazopyrid and ciprofloxacn that if my symptoms keep going to see him again cause he might refer me to a urologist any suggestions??????
Sorry for the delay but I was taking finals at the University. That tiny pain can probably be brought on by two things: anxiety or simple run of the mill intestinal activity such as gas but still, if this still bothers you, you can also go to the doctor for further investigation.
yea i jus got a call this morning from my clinic and they told me my urine and blood tests came back all normal cause they had it tested at a lab for ghonorea and chlamydia but they all came back normal thank god for that,..but i still have a very little tiny pain in my lower abdomin still wut can it be ?????
So far so good. Wait until the results come back and if you are clean, then, you have nothing further to worry about.
i jus got back from th clinic the doctor examined my penis he said it look's fine no red remarks or anything and it dont burn no more or irritated he say's it mite be either uti or chlamydia or ghoneria cause he asked me to if i ever had a yellow pus coming out my penis i replied no which is the truth,.i gave urine and i wuz taken out blood there sending it to a lab im curently waitin for the results i just prey to god its not an std or anything more serious,..
Well depending on the tests, there are urine and blood examinations. Usually Gonorrhea, Trich, UTI, Chlamydia, and NGU are done by urination examinations whereas Hep, HSV, Syphilis, and HIV are done in blood examinations. The tests now are completely reliable and they have been for quite some time. But still, you have to follow the guidelines of when you have to get tested.
Some stds go away on their own while there are others that exist in the system forever. Hep A. and gonorrhea, and these are off the top of my head, are two of a few that can clear on their own while herpes, syphilis, HIV, Hep B, Hep C are the major ones that could possible linger forever but when treatment is available right away, they can be eradicated before full infection could begin. But still, top priority, you should be checked time from time to make sure you do not have anything to pass on. Most people stay off intimacy until everything is ok so that would be a safe bet for you. You can still be in a relationship but just be aware.

It is possible for someone to have pre-existing sexual diseases and HIV/AIDS to be passed on but who knows simply because most people do or do not what they have. This is why it is imperative to use condoms.
hey Aelly is it possible to transmit aids and std at the same time is it possible for a person to have both diseases at once?
I do not know because symptoms are non-specific and can be many other things that are not stds.

Well, you could very well get it again if you are not careful or not demonstrating condom usage.
yea i have noticed improvement thank god but once u treated an std will u be free from it for the rest of your life? well ima put my part too and practice safe sex but will i get these symtoms later on in the future??? thanx for your reply
You have been properly diagnosed and straightened out by that doctor. If you symptoms continue to persist, it would not hurt to see him again.
well yea da last time i had sex wuz about a month and a week ago around oct 20 and da doctor said for sure it wuz in infection std or sumthin else but he gave me a shot and bacrtim pills my syptoms for tip of penis left and i no longer have cloudy urine the only symtom i have at the moment as im writing this is low abdominal pain but i wuz able 2 run an everything any suggestions????
It could just be an irritation but you would have to specific and tell if you had an exposure.
