re-occuring infection

hi I am a male, and have had 2 reoccuring yeast infections in 6 months. i used canestan the 1st time for a couple of days and it cleared up. The 2nd time (now) i have used it for over a week and the cottege chees is gone but i still have a small red rash and very mild itching. Im conserned i have herpes down there as i have had coldsores before..?  

is a re-occuring yeast infection bad, i have not been to the doctors about it yet.

Thx for your response I'm assuming not herpes . As it's not obvious. My fear is re occurring yiest infection I can't shake should I get it looked at

you need to continue properly treating fungal infections for a full week after the rash has cleared. Even at that, them coming back again isn't unusual. it's sometimes a hard cycle to break.

if you are concerned about herpes, be seen and get a proper work up done for it.
