Vaginal discharge

Hi, I am a 20 year old female and have only been sexually active for 5 months with the same man. He has been tested for all STDs and I don't believe he would cheat on me... we always use condoms as well. When I ovulated this month I bled (which is normal for me). But now that the bleeding is over I have slightly discolored discharge. Kind of yellow/brown but when I put it in bright light it looks like it could be green.. I have no itching or smell... I wish I could post a picture of it to show but I was just wondering is yellow discharge could be normal after ovulation? I shined an LED light on it and it looked green, could that be because of the LED light?

Hi,
Anytime you notice a change in your discharge that seems abnormal or odd to you, you should consider making an appointment for a pelvic exam w/ a gynecologist. Yellow or green discharge is usually indicative of a vaginal infection (and sometimes possibly STD's). Since you do use condoms and don't believe he's a risk, it's possibly a minor infection (yeast or BV) that can usually be easily treated by your doctor. Also, sometimes condoms can cause allergic reactions in some women. Unless you've already done so, try using non-latex, or hypoallergenic condoms.  If it continues to worry you, go have it checked out by a doctor. Take Care :)
