Achilles Tendon?

I love to play soccer, and when I play, I get pretty tough. I have really bad ankles, and about 3 days ago, my foot started hurting really bad, then it would go away and come back. I've done some research and I think I've ripped my Achilles Tendon, my sister [in medical field] believes I did, but my parents don't believe me. It hurts from right about my toes, to about 3 inches past my foot. I don't know what to do, I've tried to keep it elevated and stay off it. I want my parents to believe me.. but I'm not sure what's going on with my foot right now anyways. Can you help?

If you strained your achilles tendon you would still be able to limp/ walk. If you tore it you would be in so much pain you would not be able to walk un assisted. This same injury happened 2 weeks ago on the tv show dancing with the stars and a highly trained athlete tore her achellies tendon you could hear it "pop" did you hear such a noise? anyways it sounds like you need medical care please go to an urgent care clinic. you will likely need a soft cast and crutches for a while. Hopefully  thats all you did but dont let it go without seeing a doctor healing incorrectlu leads to a lot of problems especially as you age. there are other tendons in the foor besides the achellies, and you also could have done some bone damage we have a lot of very small bones in our foot, take care of yourself.
