Well no not totally.  As you get older it does become less and less but no it never totally goes away until you hit menopause and that's way, way, way down the road for you.  You are probably having a lot of hormonal changes right now and that is why this is happening...you are just starting puberty and your body is changing in many, many ways.  If you have more questions, let me know.

Yes, I believe so.  I will tell you that when I was in 7th grade which was a really, really, really long time ago, I went through what you are going through.  There was so much discharge that I felt like if I moved it would come out and my underwear would be soaked.  That is when I started using panty liners.  I would carry extra to change during the day.  I just think that we are all different and some people just have more discharge than others.  What you should do though is at your next physical, bring it up with your doctor and see what they say.  This is nothing to be embarassed about but I do sympathize because I was there once as well.

The reason I asked if it itched is because yeast infections are terribly itchy. Here is a website that talks about different abnormal discharges.  Give it a look and see if yours falls into any of these categories.  I'm guessing not because you didn't mention anything out of the ordinary other than amount and a "smell."

Then my guess is it is normal vaginal discharge.  If it is really bothering you, you can bring it up with your mother and she can take you to the gynecologist.

Your body is changing.  You will be having vaginal discharge for a very long time.  A panty liner is the best thing to use.  When you say smelly though, I'm not sure what you mean.  Vaginal discharge does have a smell but if it is a yeasty smell, then you may have a yeast infection.  You can get this from taking antibiotics for something else.  Basically the antibiotics destroy all the normal bacteria we have and the yeast take over.  Does it itch?
